The objects of the Club are to promote:
- the development of the art of photography in all its forms
- the promotion of photography in the community
- the compilation of archive material for use in the community
Meetings are normally weekly on Thursday evenings from end September to end
March. There are six monthly competitions for members involving prints, slides,
digital images and sequences. An annual exhibition of prints and sequences is
produced in February.
The Club produces an annual magazine ‘Hawick in Pictures’ and also archive material
on DVD of Auld Hawick.
