The fifth Hawick Highland Games took place at the Volunteer Park, Hawick, on the 22nd of June, starting at 1 pm. There were the traditional Heavy Events, a piping display by six bands from Scotland and England, Tug o' War, and a Highland Dancing competition on a fun filled afternoon.
The Volunteer Park is right next to Hawick High School at the entrance to town on the A7 road from Carlisle.
