Description: Craikhope Outdoor Centre is a purpose built centre nestling deep in Craik Forest some 15 miles south west of Hawick in the Scottish Borders. The Centre is run by the Roxburgh District Committee of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and owned by Scottish Borders Council. The Centre is available for hire to groups of between 10 and 30 people; the interior of the building is in good decorative order with two large dormitories, a leaders' twin room, fully fitted kitchen and male and female washrooms. The surrounding area is remote but extremely picturesque and offers groups the opportunity to indulge in forest walks, orienteering, mountain biking as well as providing an excellent base for team building initiatives and small group seminars. The Centre is very reasonably priced and is open between March and November each year. Please visit our web site for more details or contact the names above for a booking enquiry. |
