A Celebration of Shetland

To the Borders from Scotland’s most northerly islands comes this celebration in words,
music and pictures. Music comes from the unique and evocative Shetland Fiddlers . We
have the haunting poetry of Shetland’s best-known poet and former makar of Edinburgh,
Christine de Luca .
The celebration comes as part of the exhibition The Cockatrice’s Egg and also features
the artwork by Joy Parker and poetry by Robert Leach .
Plus open mic for all poets, musicians or singers who would like to celebrate the voes,
cliffs, wildlife and waves of the beautiful Shetland Islands.
