Right of Way
April 17 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm

Right of Way is a feature-length programme that mixes artists’ commissions with archive films raising questions of access and inclusion in the UK countryside. During the COVID-19 pandemic, as people realised the importance of open spaces for our health and mental wellbeing, inequalities of access to rural land were exposed, revealing the disconnect felt by millions of people towards the countryside. What happens when ethnically diverse people enter these landscapes? How can our natural spaces be homes to protest, trespassing, activism and raves?
The screening will be followed by audience conversation with musician and travellers’ rights activist Bill Lloyd.
Free entry, donations welcome at the door.
