Originally a Peel Tower House and home of the Douglas family, the structure, which was formerly well known as Drumlanrig's Tower, is now the Borders Textile Towerhouse. It is a showcase for the history of the textile industry in Hawick and the wider Borders as well as for the most modern designs and catwalk fashions of today. Admission is free and there is a sales area on the ground floor. |
