Originally a Peel Tower House and home of the Douglas family, Drumlanrig's
Tower is a historic building. Home to the VisitScotland Borders Tourist
Information centre until the end of October 2007, when this facility moves
to Tower Mill, Drumlanrig's
Tower is undergoing a staged refit and will rehouse the Registrar from
the Town Hall. The Tower will also contain a commerical sales area and
a display of the local textile industry.
